We are sorry to announce the death of Peter Crotty after a long illness on Wednesday 27th May 2026.  Peter was the husband of Rosemary Wren, the renowned potter, with whom he collaborated to create beautiful decorative pottery.  He was a half-brother to Gwendoline and Mary, and uncle to Alison, Christopher, Steven & Angela.    He lived in Devon, Strathpeffer and latterly at Cadboll Place, Tain before ending his days in Mull Hall Care Home. Funeral service will take place at Mitchell Hill Cemetery, Dingwall on Thursday 18th June at 12 noon. Peacefully, at Raigmore Hospital, on Tuesday 28th April 2026, Henry Corbett, (retired taxi driver & Publican), 4 Victoria Terrace, Tain, much loved and devoted husband of Joette, a dearly loved dad of Louise and the late Andrew, and a proud and loving grandad to Duncan, and a good friend to many. Henry was well known in the community for his warm smile, quick wit, and love of football — always ready with a story or a laugh, and never far from the action on match day. A funeral service will be held at Tain Town Hall on Friday 22nd May 2026 at 12 noon, thereafter to Balintore Cemetery.
